How do $uDEAD dividends work?

$uDEAD is minted by permanently burning $DEAD at a 2:1 ratio (burn 2 $DEAD to mint 1 $uDEAD). Holders receive automatic ETH dividends streamed directly to their wallets from ecosystem revenue — trading fees, USDeAD vault exit fees (50% of the 1% exit fee), and USDeAD liquidation surpluses. No staking, no claiming — dividends stream automatically. Because total $uDEAD supply can only shrink, your share percentage grows over time.

What is USDeAD and how is it backed?

USDeAD is an over-collateralized ETH-backed decentralized stablecoin. It is minted by depositing WETH, wstETH, or rETH into a vault. The recommended collateral ratio is 200%; vaults below the 115% liquidation threshold become liquidatable by any user (permissionless, no grace period). The protocol charges 0% interest — only a one-time 1% exit fee, 50% of which streams to $uDEAD holders and 50% to the treasury.

What is the Deaderal Reserve Protocol?

The Deaderal Reserve Protocol (DRP) is the open, Liquity-inspired CDP protocol behind USDeAD. How to connect your wallet to the dead.box website and start interacting with the ecosystem.

Connecting your wallet to dead.box is your gateway to the entire DeadBox ecosystem. The process is quick and simple once you have MetaMask set up with the Base network.

Visit dead.box in your browser. Make sure you are using the official URL and that you see the correct site. Bookmark it for future visits.
Click the "Connect Wallet" button in the top right corner of the page. A MetaMask popup will appear asking you to select which account to connect. Select your account and click "Connect".
MetaMask may ask you to switch to the Base network if you are on a different chain. Approve the network switch. Once connected, you will see your wallet address displayed on the site and can start interacting with DEAD, uDEAD, and USDeAD.

Connection Troubleshooting

If the connect button does not respond, make sure MetaMask is unlocked and you are on the Base network (Chain ID 8453). Try refreshing the page or disabling other wallet extensions that may conflict. On mobile, use the MetaMask in-app browser to navigate to dead.box.
