$DEAD

$DEAD is a deflationary burn token with a hard cap of 1 billion max supply. Every transaction that involves burning permanently removes tokens from circulation, creating increasing scarcity over time. DEAD serves as the foundation of the Dead Economy ecosystem.

Grave Digging is a unique mechanism that allows active community members to reclaim tokens from wallets that have been inactive for 90 or more days. When claimed, the tokens are distributed: 50% to the claimer, 40% burned permanently, and 10% sent to the treasury. You must hold at least 1,000,000 DEAD to participate.

DEAD uses the LayerZero OFT (Omnichain Fungible Token) standard for cross-chain transfers. Tokens are burned on the source chain and minted on the destination chain, maintaining a consistent total supply across all networks.

Burned tokens are permanently removed from the total supply and can never be recovered. Burning DEAD can be used to mint uDEAD at a 2:1 ratio (2 DEAD burned = 1 uDEAD minted), giving you access to the revenue-sharing token.

Your tokens can only be claimed if your wallet has been completely inactive (no transfers in or out) for 90 days. To stay safe: Check your status using the 'Your Wallet' tab above. If approaching 90 days, make any DEAD transaction to reset the timer. Convert to uDEAD — it's completely immune to Grave Digging. Any on-chain interaction resets your timer.
