Building on DeadBox

How to extend the ecosystem as a developer

7 min readDevelopers

The DEADBOX ecosystem is designed as an open, composable protocol stack. Any developer can build products that integrate with the existing token infrastructure and feed revenue back to uDEAD holders.

Open Protocol Architecture

The Deaderal Reserve Protocol (DRP) supports proxy contracts that sit between end-users and the core protocol. This means you can build custom frontends, wrapper tokens, or entirely new financial products -- all backed by the same collateral pool. The only fixed variable is the 1% exit fee; everything else (minting fees, UI, branding) is customizable.

Revenue Integration

To feed revenue into the uDEAD dividend pool, your product simply needs to send fees to the uDEAD distribution contract. The dividend tracker automatically distributes incoming tokens proportionally to all uDEAD holders. This creates a win-win: your users benefit from the DEADBOX ecosystem, and existing uDEAD holders earn from your product's activity.

Examples of What You Can Build

Whitelabel stablecoins with custom branding backed by DRP collateral. Synthetic assets (gold, oil, currencies) using the same vault mechanism. AI agent-managed vaults that optimize collateral positions. Lending protocols that accept DEAD/uDEAD as collateral. Analytics dashboards and portfolio trackers. Trading bots and automation tools. DeadVault (deadvault.xyz) is a community-built example: an on-chain secret storage tool whose fees flow to uDEAD holders.
